Miami becomes Vice City
The Miami Heat will host the Milwaukee Bucks at Kaseya Center during A Night in Vice City. The collaboration will bring Rockstar's fictional city identity into an official game through a special court, reimagined uniforms and themed entertainment.
The real Miami as an extension of the game
Vice City began as Rockstar's interpretation of Miami; now the real city is temporarily adopting elements of the fiction. The Welcome to Vice City sign installed on Kaseya Center had already previewed this crossover.
Launch eve
The event takes place November 18. Rockstar officially continues to list GTA VI for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Why it matters
This goes beyond courtside advertising: a Miami sports franchise will temporarily adapt its presentation to the GTA VI universe, creating one of the clearest real-world links between Vice City and its inspiration.
CONFIRMED: November 18, Heat–Bucks, special court, reimagined uniforms and Vice City-themed entertainment.
ANALYSIS: it looks like a centerpiece of the final marketing push.
NOT CONFIRMED: no GTA VI in-game rewards have been announced for attending.
